Steps towards Citywide Networking involvement can include:
- Read through the following articles: How to Foment a City-Wide Mission Movement by Michael Jaffarian, and Building a Strong Web of Relationships by David Mays.
- See Blake McDaniel's powerpoint on starting mission networks (beginning on page 11).
- Check out select Examples of Citywide Networking
- See if your city is on MAC Global’s list of Citywide Networks. If it is, contact the leadership to see how you can assist them.
- If you are a Perspectives alumni you are the fruit of a dedicated networking effort that has worked diligently to see mission vision and education made available throughout your city. That's why we strongly encourage you to explore involvement with the Perspectives Task Force in your city. If there hasn't been a class in your city for some time, click here for information on how to get one started!
- Create a Citywide Mission Networking Web Page. Don't worry if you are from a small city, MAC Global will put up a page for any city that displays a heart for networking. Let us know by emailing:

- If your city has no identifiable networking team, begin praying for God to raise up such an effort using: One Minute of Prayer for Your City and Fifteen Key Prayers for Your City.
- Visit church, campus and agency leaders and cast the vision for networking your city for prayer and mission. Once you've sensed there's enough interest, call a meeting for exploring next steps.
- Begin a database of all the key mission and prayer contacts within the churches, campus fellowships and mission ministries of your city.
- Provide communications for all your contacts - including timely reports on progress, upcoming events, prayer needs, etc.. Also, channel praise reports and prayer needs to the Citywide Intercessors, once a team is established.
